The characteristics (phenotype) of each baby was determined by random selection of alleles to create the genotype. The phenotype is determined by the combination of dominant and recessive alleles recieved (selected) from the parent.

Two weeks down and things are going well. The student’s (and staff) are settling into the routine of the Year 9 Centre after our Christmas break. There is some great work being completed on topic such as “should we change our College uniform”, Natural Disasters and Poverty.

Last Terms the students completed a self represntation of their values and annotated them with learning styles. They are now on display in the centre so come up and have a look at all the students just hanging around.

The students voted on what to call the centre and the winner was “Steve”.

If you haven’t been over to the Year 9 Centre (Steve) this year, or ever, come on over and have a look the students would love to see you.
